After a successful series of breakfast smoothie bowls, I’ve moved to breakfast drinks on the go. I needed something with more protein, not very sweet and of course with fruit. The easiest one I could think of was a banana smoothie. Now, I didn’t want it to be a plain and boring smoothie, so I added a few more things to make it more appealing to my palate.
200 ml/One cup/One small bottle
Banana – 1, cut and frozen
Yoghurt – 2 tbsp
Cocoa – 1 tbsp
Vanilla – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 1/2 tsp
Honey – 1 tsp
Chia seeds – 1 tsp (Optional)
A splash of water
Blend all the ingredients till it gets to a smooth and pourable consistency. Done!
Note: Bananas are frozen so you get a smooth texture. Same goes for chikku or even mangoes. Also, the smoothie is nice and cold already!
